Tiny Rose is a DREAM come TRUE, only 6 years of waiting! When I imported her dam, Cheryl Cole, I knew I wanted to retain a filly (or two) from her for my program, because her type and build in her small 11.2hh size was (and still is) quite literally, irreplaceable! I tried for years, and Cheryl consistently threw foals that were going 12-12.2hh range no matter what size stallion I was putting her to. I bit my tongue, and let each foal go one by one, knowing they were incredible!! But just not as small as I wanted to retain for the future of my program. In the back of my mind, I had a gut feeling that putting Cheryl Cole to Tiny Tim was going to be the ticket, but Timmy was just a baby when I imported Cheryl, so I had to sit back and patiently wait for him to grow up. He left as a 2yr old for training, and showing, and didn't come back home until he was almost 5. But it was finally time, and I paired him to Cheryl Cole, waited 11 very long months, prayed for a filly, and this EXCEPTIONAL, tiny, incredibly perfect FILLY was born!! I knew right away she was the ONE!
Tiny Rose wraps my program back together, bringing two of my favorite mare lines together; Mini Rose and Cheryl Cole. Mini Rose always passes down my absolute favorite conformation; a short back, a huge, round rear end, broad build, rainbow archy neck and a super sweet head. Cheryl Cole compliments all of that by adding drafty type, thick bone, extremely mellow temperament and heavy feather!! Tiny Tim brings in the incredible bloodlines of his sire, Little Tommy, bringing in yet another level of incredible conformation, heavy bone, mega feather/hair genetics, and extremely mellow temperament! Making Tiny Rose - EVERYTHING I ever wanted in a keeper filly from Cheryl Cole!!
